I was just curious, am I the only one that still has deep rooted issues with Sam? I mean sure what happened in the finale was a START to him being awesome again, but I'm not ready to forgive and forget just yet. But with what I've been reading on boards and over here that the golden boy is back to wearing his halo and I'm all, seriously? *shrug*

I am not in the realm of people thinking Sam is perfect, but I think he knows he fucked up and is going to work on changing things. But I don't have, as you stated, deep rooted issues with him. I think it varies with those that are Sam-fans, Dean-fans, and the bi-bro fans. All of us are going to view things differently because of that alone in my opinion. Does that make sense?

Complete sense. *nods* I know a lot of my issues with Sam come from being such a die hard Dean girl. The way he treated Dean for most of this season for me was just too much. Not saying i can never like Sam again, but I'm not ready to throw him a party and forgive him just yet.

It's hard to choose between yes or no when you are clearly liking the way he was going. Sure, not everything is overall forgotten between him and Dean and especially what he did to Dean but I'm not judging him either :)

I definitely still have my issues with Sam, because I truly disliked him for most of this season. His "I'm sorry" to Dean at the end was a start to me forgiving him, but there needs to be a LOT more than that coming from him next season. Starting with him apologizing for constantly calling Dean weak. That pissed me off like nothing else. Dean has done everything for Sam since he was a child, and you call him weak?

So sorry, Sam, no halo for you yet until you start asking for forgiveness, because Dean was right about Ruby from DAY ONE and you should've listened to him when he told you to kill her, not make friends with her.

I still have issues with Sam; in fact, I was watching season 3, and I could see the start of him going down hill. What saddens me is Kripke, in the end, put it all on Ruby (who I fucking hate, except in that one ep with Dean, wtf is with that??? She was a COMPLETELY different character then -- I did notice it was the same hotel he was screaming out to God at, begging Him, and then Castiel appeared....or at least, it LOOKED like the same hotel).....BUT, Sam was turning into a self-centred, 'omg, you're gonna die and leave me, so I've got to turn into you', which, his turning into Dean IS NOT like Dean. But I'm a Dean girl and don't see him as this ass like Sammy turned into, so whatever.

Um, I may have gone off on a tangent there, but to summarize: Dean is awesome. Sam is a dick, although I do squee over him from time to time in certain episodes.

Nope, not all forgiven just yet, its not that easy, after putting his hands around Dean neck for a demon definately is not water under the bridge. I am sure he feels like a complete idiot being played like that, c'mon to even associate with a demon giving his family history is ludicrous.

Eventually I will get over it, I feel a slight lift since his bitch is dead, but its gonna take some time.

I think I can forgive Sam much more easily than I can forgive Dean for how he acted in season 3. Sam, at least, acted because he was a bit arrogant and thought he knew best, but...really, he was tricked.

I don't know if all is forgiven. I still haven't forgiven Bobby. lol

I'm a total Dean!girl, and I will admit I hurt for Dean every time Sam does something that adds to that emotional black hole Dean's trying to swim out of. But at the same time, I've never really blamed Sam for it. Yes, he did what he did by choice, but I totally get that they were set up from the beginning to force them into situations where they felt they had no other choice. I know why he did what he did, and I'm pretty sure that now he knows what was wrong in that and owns it. If he's remorseful for it, then I don't hold any grudges.

I love Sammy, but for me, because of the way he treated Dean last season, he has some serious grovelling to do.

I actually do understand why he did what he did, i guess it shows the strength of his feelings for Dean that he would do ANYTHING to have the strength to protect him.

But after what Dean went through- frickin' going to hell for his brother- i was heartbroken by the way Sam didn't trust him and broke him even further by telling him he was weak. Dean is anything but weak. After the horror Dean went through, i wanted Sam to show him comfort and support.

I vote for lots of apologising and brother hugging next season :)

I still like Sam, and I'm rooting for him to come around and be the Sam he once was, but that ending doesn't give me a ton of hope for that. While Dean wanted to run away from Lucifer's rising, Sam wanted to stay for the show, and seemed downright mesmerized. That doesn't bode well. And now what's he going to do with all that demon blood in him? He said himself, he's changed for good, that he could feel it. So what now? Can he go back? Not without a good amount of pain, I'd say, or else I'll feel jipped.

Let's not forget the fact that while Dean might've been the one to break the first seal, Sam was the one who chose to go down the path of drinking demon blood and continuously listening to the demon skank instead of his own brother. He was the one who became so deluded with aspirations of how he was better than everyone else and how HE had to save the world that he walked right into the trap which any idiot could've seen coming from a mile off. So all is not yet forgiven.

I *love* that Sam said he was sorry, it was a huge step in the right direction. However, I still voted that all is not forgiven because until they're able to talk, we can't be sure where Sam is thinking other than, OOPS. They both were manipulated into bad decisions and they'll have to live with them and forgive each other.
