More details on the MBV DVD release:

Coming May 19th are both a standard DVD and a Special Edition disc, plus a Blu-ray edition. All three will present the film in both widescreen 2-D and 3-D (with four pairs of glasses); the DVDs present the movie with Dolby Digital 5.1 sound, and the Blu-ray sports DTS-HD 7.1 Master Audio. Supplements on the Special Edition DVD and the Blu-ray include:

• Audio commentary by director Patrick Lussier and co-writer Todd Farmer
• Deep Inside MY BLOODY VALENTINE making-of featurette
• Sex, Blood and Screams—The Special Make-Up FX of MY BLOODY VALENTINE featurette
• Deleted and extended scenes
• Gag reel

The Blu-ray additionally includes MoLog Movie Blog interactive and Lionsgate Live enabled features, plus a standard-definition digital copy of the movie on a second disc. Cover art is coming soon; retail price is $29.95 for the basic DVD, $34.98 for the Special Edition and $39.99 for the Blu-ray.

Am I the only whose all pessimistic and wondering what kind of glasses. I mean. 4 glasses sound like a lot, and would only make sense to fit into the umh standard DVD box if they are the paper ones or if the box is like bigger than usual. XD

I'd hope for the latter, obviously.

But yay! Totally want special edition one. Gag reel and crap! :D

I'm just glad it'll have a 2D version. I saw it in 3D, but 3D tends to make me sick, so it will be nice to watch it in 2D.

They could have the nice glasses in a side compartment thing. Like one of the DVDs of Madagascar 2. They had three pez dispensers in an extra cardboard box. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10848194

Haha. Yes!! Doll-freaking-house!! *Grins* People should watch it and give it a chance because it'll get better. For me it's already getting better.

Things just need some time to roll out and be set up and all that stuff. Patience is needed. *Nods*

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking/hoping. but it might make it more expensive, but that's okay. lol. Well, not if it's crazy pricey but ya know. lol.

But yes, glad they'll have 2D because I have glasses and by the end of the movie I was getting a headache because I had the 3D glasses over my glasses. lol.

The old 3D with the paper ones didn't work for me, so I was surprised a little when the new 3D worked better. lol.

I have glasses as well. I was wearing a beanie and ended up putting the 3D glasses on the outside of my beanie.

I get wicked motion sickness, so the 3D thing and I don't get along well.
