BIG SCREEN 3D MOVIE! (opening one week before Jared's but we wont harp on that)

OMG!! SQUEEEEE! CONGRATS JENSEN!

I do have issues with it being a remake, good gosh Hollywood, have you no writers? but SQUEEEEEEE!!

Jensen Ackles is in final negotiations to play a lead in Lionsgate's "My Bloody Valentine 3-D."

In helmer Patrick Lussier's remake of the 1981 slasher film, Ackles will play Tom, a handsome, principled man who returns to his home in Harmony, Mo., 10 years after 22 people were murdered on Valentine's night. Back in Montana, Tom finds he still is smitten with his first love, Sarah (Jaime King), and is now a murder suspect. Zane Smith wrote the screenplay.

Jack Murray, John Dunning and Andre Link will executive produce. Executive producers for Lionsgate are Mike Paseornek and John Sacchi.

Production begins May 12. A Jan. 23 release is planned.

Ackles (the CW's "Supernatural") is repped by WMA and Management 360.

I know! Matching movies, coming out the same time, filming the same time, both are remakes. It's creepy! and also this will be the second time Jensen plays a character that Jared has already played a character by the same name! 0.o Something is strange. *nod*

Yeah baby! ...is it odd that every time we say something on FF it comes true? Clearly we have to wish for Jensen next. LOL ....this is such great news! ....there is only one theater in the city that will be able to show it, and it's a 50 mile drive but you can bet I'll be there on opening night. *nods* Even if it is the middle of winter! ...and if it's a blizzard I'll go anyway!

I have no idea if it will come out here and if it is, it's probably at a much later date...except for major releases, we always get the movies and tv series late here. But oh well..there's always coughothermeanscough to see it, I guess. But I'd really love to see it on the big screen! ♥

So much for hoping for Jensen at Asylum though. *cries*
Oh well, I wasn't really expecting that anymore anyway.

Although, why doesn't it open Valentines Day weekend if it's a V Day movie? That's odd. My movie theatre always gets movies late anyway- maybe I can go to a double feature and see both a week or so later!

I understand that the movie is going to be filmed in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania...have you heard anything of that nature? Because my best friend lives in Pittsburgh and it's only a 3 1/2-4 (traffic depending) drive from where I live. I WOULD SO STALK THE SET. EEEE! Jensen!
